Dear Sailors

We have our second work day scheduled  for this Saturday, June 1, to prepare the club for our annual regatta the following Saturday on June 8. We need your help. The projects we would like to tackle are:

  1. Fix loose boards on dock 5 or other docks which pose toe-stubbing or severe splinters in feet potential. Bring skil-saws, hammers, battery powered drills for deck screws.
  2. Open up some of the drainage ditches. Bring shovels, picks, wheel barrows.
  3. Cut firewood. Bring chainsaws.
  4. Weedeat weeds. Bring weedeaters. Note: daisies and other wildflowers are not weeds.
  5. Finish pvc run on dock 3. Those with plumbing experience see Michael Mangione or Jimmy White for instructions.
  6. Repair and reset “no wake” buoy.
  7. Move empty trailers to upper lot for regatta parking in the lower lot. 1 7/8 “ and 2” hitch balls.
  8. Clean brush piles, brush and general grounds cleanup. Bring rakes.

Everyone bring gloves. There may be ticks and chiggers so Off or some other insect repellant would be recommended. Sunscreen recommended. If you are allergic to poison ivy, find a job on the docks or digging ditches.

I will bring the brats and burgers and ask for any help getting lunch prepared that anyone can provide. If you have any suggestions for additional projects, email me at Joe@bensonlawfirm-ar.com or call me at 479-841-1099. Look forward to seeing you Saturday.
