VC Notes: After the first race on Saturday exceeded the time limit of 1.5 hours and was abandoned, races two and three were cancelled due to lack of wind. Anahi and Cure for Dreams were leading when race one was abandoned.

Day two saw a much improved race day with winds 10-15. It was decided to hold four short races. These races were very exciting with very competitive racing and several close calls between boats at the mark.  All boats in both fleets finished within minutes of one another.

Based on the four Sunday races, Jimmy and Sue White are champions of the Spinnaker fleet; Johnny and Judy Walker take home top honors in the cruising fleet.  ‘Liter Board’ prizes will be awarded at the next cup race. (Since the VC forgot them this week).  Cure for Dreams and Valkyrie tied in points for this series, but the tiebreaker went to the highest place finisher in the last race.

One scoring error on finish times was discovered after the first race results were announced, post-race. When corrected, it changed the finish results of race 1, moving Anahi ahead of Dreamer in that race. But this did not change the overall standings.
